Adam

Prison Ministry Directors – Adam and Amy Binkerd

Adam, and his wife Amy, married in 2000, and have two children Amylia and Ayden. Amy, author of the book Violent Love; My Intimate Moments With God, uses her passion for writing to minister Gods empowerment and love. Adam uses his experience, and degree in addictions counseling, to help a variety of people overcome a myriad of life-controlling behaviors such as over-eating, over-spending, and narcotics abuse. Adam and Amy are a true testament to the restoration power of the Holy Spirit. After nearly calling it quits in marriage, they turned everything over to God and watched as He began to rebuild their relationship from scratch. Today they serve in ministry together, reaching out to some of the most broken men and women in our community. Their ministry includes developing their children in their own gifts and callings, facilitating life recovery programs in maximum-security prisons, one-on-one intervention with local residents, and volunteering their time for local not-for-profits. Adam and his family have called Bethel Worship Center home since 2004.
